THE BIG TOP

A MARQUEE IS A STEP ON THE ROAD AND THE INSURANCE OF ENCOUNTERS.

So Pardi! has ensured since 2012 that its history of the circus would be written with the noise of engines and the smell of bitumen.

Designed and built from 2011 to 2012, Maël Tortel and Garlic Humeau gave birth to this metal structure in the premises of “Tonnes de Faire” in Corsavi (66). Of course! has also invested in the Factory, Mix'art Myris and the Garrousset farm. The canvas was ordered in Italy from Ortona. Its 3 masts, its dome and its cap are the Pardi signature!

IT IS A PASSAGE STRUCTURE THAT IS TO CHANGE THE LANDSCAPE.

The tent transforms by its simple presence a usual public place. It offers a space of possibilities by opening up new perspectives for occupying public spaces, thus stimulating everyone's curiosity and imagination.

Setting up the marquee means for us close collaborations with the structures or the localities of reception in order to favor a presence and an implication on the given territory. The challenge is to establish themselves over long periods in order to increase the number of shows, build privileged links and actions with local actors.

The marquee is also a political tool during these years of budget cuts, it is a tool that allows us to directly find the link between spectators and artists. By re-establishing this link in a direct way, we thus avoid the existing financial dilution in the different strata of the cultural world.

Cirque Pardi! is happy to offer you his way of playing at home, at his place…
